On Tuesday, June 11, 2024, a signing ceremony for the double degree program agreement with the University of Turin, Italy, was held online.
Starting with opening remarks by Stefano Geuna, Rector of the University of Turin, Gianluigi Benedetti, Italian Ambassador to Japan, and Tadashi Kondo, Dean of the Graduate School of Science, addressed their outlook for the future exchange.
After that, Cristina Prandi, Deputy Rector of the University of Turin, and Associate Professor Luca Baiotti, as a contact person on our side, introduced the organizations and programs of both parties, highlighting similarities and complementarities.
Finally, Marco Prencipe, Consul General of Italy in Osaka, concluded the ceremony with comments promising to deepen the cooperative relationship between the two universities, as well as between Italy and Japan as a whole.
