Undergraduate Admissions

International Undergraduate Program in Science (IUPS)

The International Undergraduate Program in Science is a bachelor program conducted partly in English and partly in Japanese for students who want to specialize in Chemistry, Mathematics, or Physics. The whole program usually requires 4.5 years for completion, including a six-month preliminary intensive study of the Japanese language. A bachelor’s degree is awarded to students who complete the program. See details on the IUPS webpage about the program.

Enrollment in April 2024
Preliminary and Intensive Japanese Language Education: October 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024 (6 months)
Undergraduate School: April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2028

NOTICE

  • There will be some changes in the Special Entrance Examination for the IUPS which will be conducted after 2024 (for April 2025 and beyond Enrollment).

  • Department of Mathematics will accept only EJU, IB and GCE A-Level for the Standardized tests from the entrance admission of 2025 (for April 2026 Enrollment).
