During the period of October 31 to November 6, 2022, a series of visits were conducted in Indonesia to promote study abroad opportunities at Osaka University (OU). These visits and the delegates were organized by the Global Initiative Organization, OU. In the delegates, two representatives of our Graduate School of Science (GSS), namely Assoc. Prof. Luca Baiotti (representing IPC Program) and Assist. Prof. Anas Santria (representing SISC Program) took part.
At Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), one of our DDP partner universities, the workshop was conducted in hybrid format (On-site and Zoom), which included presentations by faculties and students from OU, followed by group consultations for ITB students interested in specific fields of study.
At Airlangga University (AU), each delegate from our GSS gave presentations explaining our English courses, in a similar manner, to faculties and students for instruction of our research educational programs.
Overall, these visitation activities will contribute to further development of international research and personal exchanges with ITB as our DDP partner. Simultaneously, we will also greatly deepen our international exchange with AU, for extensively pursuing prosperity among Indonesian universities and OU.
