From March 13 to 15, 2023, the delegates of Graduate School of Science (GSS) visited College of Science, De La Salle University (DLSU), the Philippines.

Speakers from both universities exhibited the research activities in each chemistry department. We also introduced one of our international graduate programs, SISC (Special Integrated Science Course) as well as Double Degree Program^*1. Relevantly, we discussed the further growth of our international cooperative research, upon enhancement of the student exchange between the two universities. Then, we showed our NMR instruments owned in our GSS and the analytical NMR data obtained practically in our research projects. We have implemented NMR analysis remotely operated from overseas, and we gave a demo of it onsite. For further development of students learning analytical methods in DLSU, Prof. Murata gave some lectures, concerning the fundamental principle and analysis of NMR, and the instruction workshop of NMR instruments for practical usage followed.*²

We highly expect these international academic exchanges would extend further developments and prosperities in both universities.
