Books of Osaka University Distinguished Honorary Professor Yoichiro Nambu who was awarded the 2008 Nobel Prize in Physics and passed away in July 2015 were donated to the Graduate School of Science from the bereaved family. A total of 418 volumes such as natural science books are kept in the bookshelf of the room where Professor Nambu was studied.
