On Tuesday, May 20, 2025, the Graduate School of Science hosted a visit from faculty members and graduate students from National Chung Shan University in Taiwan.
On the day of the visit, the following seven visitors were present:
・Prof. Jyh-Tsung Lee (Dean, School of Science)
・Prof. Chun-Hu Chen (Professor, Department of Chemistry)
・Prof. Toshio Kasai (Visiting Professor, Department of Chemistry / Professor Emeritus, The University of Osaka)
・ Ms. Ya-Chun Chuang (Full-time staff in charge of the Double Degree Program)
・3 graduate students

In the morning, graduate students from National Chung Shan University gave research presentations, which were followed by a lively Q&A session. In the afternoon, the participants visited four laboratories in the Chemistry Department of the Graduate School of Science and were introduced to the research content and facilities.
　Then, from 3:00 p.m., four faculty members from National Chung Shan University and Dean Tadashi Kondo, Professor Takashi Kubo, Professor Mikito Koshino, and Lecturer Yuri Kamon from our Graduate School attended the meeting and exchanged opinions on strengthening cooperation based on the double degree agreement signed last year. In addition, a joint workshop between the Graduate School of Science, The University of Osaka and the College of Science, National Chung Shan University will be held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, on December 6, 2025. We confirmed that we will continue to further develop organized educational and research exchanges to strengthen the cooperative relationship between our two sides.
