On 12th January 2018, our international students visited companies to understand the culture of Japanese industries as well as to look to build a career in the future. They initially visited Shiga plant of TORAY Industries, Inc. After taking a lecture on TORAY’s chemical research and technologies, they had a tour at Innovation Plaza and Films & Film Products Research Laboratories. Subsequently, they visited Technology and Innovation Center of DAIKIN Industries, Ltd, located in Osaka, where they looked at advanced environmental technologies and its facilities. Our students actively asked questions and had discussions with people in the companies.
