On 5 November 2018, our international students visited Rohto Research Village Kyoto (RVK) located in Kizugawa, Kyoto. The purpose of this visit was to find career opportunities and to gain valuable advice by Rohto. After warm reception by the Global Human Resource Development Team, we were guided by professional staff and looked at the laboratories analyzing their products. At the information session, we learned the key mission of RVK, which was clarified into Challenge and Globalization. Moreover, we learned the recruitment process for international employees at Rohto. Our international students actively asked many questions related to their future career in the Q&A. This visit was supported by the International Affairs Committee of the Graduate School of Science.
