Our students were awarded the Osaka University Sumino Isamu Foundation for Fostering Global Talent

A student group of the School/Graduate School of Science was awarded the 2017 Osaka University Sumino Isamu Foundation for Fostering Global Talent (International Student Exchange Support Program) for student-exchange activities at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. This program is to encourage the international students’ assertiveness, the ability to plan and act upon those plans, as well as to give students who show a commitment to their proposals the opportunity to participate in international exchanges overseas for international student groups. In our school, the group of 6 students from four countries (Hong Kong, India, Sri Lanka and Japan) formed a student community named Science Buddy. They will have an opportunity to interact with students and professors of the Faculty of Science and Engineering in the University of Groningen during their three-day visit in this September. We hope their good luck and look forward to hearing their great experience at the University of Groningen.
