先導的留学生交流プログラム

 
 

The “INTERFACES” project is a collaboration between seven universities of which four are European (Groningen University, Uppsala University, Bochum University, Heidelberg University) and three are Japanese (Osaka University, Kyoto University, Tohoku University). It covers the fields of natural sciences, pharmacy, informatics and artificial intelligence. The resources to support mobility of European and Japanese students and staff are provided by the European Union (FP7) and Japanese Student Services Organization (JASSO).

The Interfaces project will run under auspices of the Graduate School of Science to coordinate use of the provided resources and formally has started this fall arranging administrative and formal matters. It is expected that exchange between partners will become effectuated from spring 2009 in view of the project aims to:

  1. 1.Enhance collaboration among partner universities between Europe and Japan

  2. 2.Stimulate student mobility between EU and Japanese partners by mutual recognition of qualifications, study periods, and credit portability

  3. 3.Stimulate mobility of scientists/academics between EU and Japanese partners
